I learned very early in my investing career that it’s easier for everyone to know who you are than for you to know who everyone is.
By this I mean that being a thought leader in your space and being willing to engage in deep conversations with interesting people doing interesting things in your space surfaces great opportunities.
It’s also critical to develop rock-solid relationships with your Founders and co-Investors because they become sources of amazing deal flow.
